General Questions
-
You don’t. That is why I offer a free consultation. It’s a chance for us to connect, talk about what you’re looking for, and see if working together feels like the right match. If either of us feel it might not be the right fit, I am more than happy to offer a list of referrals that can better suit your needs.
-
Our first session is about getting to know each other. We’ll explore what’s bringing you in, what you’d like to work on, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. There’s no pressure to dive deep right away. This is your space, at your pace.
-
It depends on your goals and what you're working through. Some people come for a few months, others stay longer for deeper work. We’ll check in regularly to make sure therapy continues to feel helpful and aligned with your needs.
-
Yes, I work with all three. Whether you’re looking to improve your relationship with yourself, your partner, or your family, I tailor the process to your unique goals and needs.
-
Each type of therapy focuses on different dynamics. Individual therapy centers on your personal growth and healing. Couples therapy addresses relationship patterns and communication between two partners. Family therapy involves multiple members of a family system to explore roles, boundaries, and shared challenges. We’ll talk together about what format best fits your needs.
-
I currently offer virtual sessions to make therapy more accessible and flexible for your schedule. All sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. I’m also exploring the possibility of offering in-person sessions in the future.

Currently I see clients in Maryland and Virginia only.
